Dragon re-entry last night

Looks like a SpaceX Dragon did a rare descending node re-entry over Alabama last night. There are reports of a horizon-to-horizon fireball w/ sonic booms.from Missouri to Jacksonville.

These are rare because NASA prefers an ascending node groundtrack over Mexico and the isthmus of Central America, because, apparently this was upsetting to some people in the Southeast back in the Shuttle era.

Anyone know of how to get notified of these events ahead of time? Surely this will happen again.
